About the role
- You ensure our content looks great and reads compellingly.
- You have a strong sensibility for language and for effective visuals.
- You refine phrasing until it fits perfectly.
- You create high-performing thumbnails and artworks using AI and Canva.
- You edit raw texts produced by the team.
- You write original sections and perform the final quality check before distribution.
- Final check before every send: review spelling, grammar, logic and clarity.
- Conceptualize and build YouTube thumbnails: a combination of AI image tools and Canva.
- Design strong artworks for newsletters and podcast episodes.
- Produce metadata (subject line, preheader, YouTube descriptions).
- Curate interview episodes from a content perspective when needed.
Requirements
- Native-level German
- Very strong writing and editing skills
- Passion for making texts linguistically perfect
- Strong eye for effective visuals
- Confident in using AI tools
- Attention to detail and high quality standards
- Analytical thinking
- Interest in automotive and business topics
- Reliable availability: Monday or Tuesday (briefing work), Saturday + Tuesday evenings (final checks)
- Independent, structured way of working
- First experience in writing, proofreading or editorial work (nice-to-have)
- Experience with thumbnails or social media visuals (nice-to-have)
- Practical exposure to the automotive industry (internship, working student role, project) (nice-to-have)
- Experience with newsletter tools, YouTube or Canva/Figma (nice-to-have)
