About the role
- Responsible for fact-checking tickets in a queue and testing customer-owned devices to ensure functionality prior to deployment
- Responsible for time management while in a production environment
- Communicate and articulate issues when discovered in a concise manner to the team and manager
- Responsible for manual testing of customer-owned inventory
- Creation, management, and triage of defects within devices
- Ensure troubleshooting issues experienced during testing is being done properly
- Provide daily and weekly status reporting through approved software
- Follow written and verbal instructions from leads
- Responsible for monitoring of the ticketing systems for test case management, creation, and execution
- Follow established processes and procedures for reporting and testing
- Archive all test documentation as directed
Requirements
- High School Diploma or general equivalent
- 1-2 years of experience in a mobility production environment preferred
- A+ preferred
- Ability to have a flexible schedule and ability to work early/late as needed for the project
- Experience with client-server systems and understanding the types of issues that may arise
- Ability to learn quickly in a dynamic environment
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities
- Ability to collaborate with team members and clients to meet project deadlines and milestones
- Basic understanding of back-end infrastructure and design
- Understanding of iPhone, Android, and Windows mobile devices
- Comprehension and understanding of requirements for testing
- Strong attention to detail
