About the role

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for new claimants, guiding them through the initial onboarding process
  • Conduct comprehensive onboarding meetings to gather essential claim information and supporting documentation
  • Verify claimants identity and eligibility according to case criteria and compliance requirements
  • Create and configure new claim profiles within our proprietary claims management platform
  • Explain the claims process, timeline expectations, and next steps in clear, accessible language
  • Establish relationships with claimants, building trust and confidence in our claims management service
  • Manage the day-to-day operational activities for assigned claims (internal to the Deminor Group or external), ensuring all actions are properly documented
  • Process and organise incoming claim documentation, ensuring completeness and proper classification
  • Coordinate with internal/ external stakeholders to ensure all claim requirements are fulfilled within required timelines
  • Track claim status and progression through established workflows and milestone tracking
  • Provide regular status updates to claimants in their preferred language (English, Dutch, Spanish, Italian or French)
  • Respond promptly to claimant inquiries, maintaining our service standard for communication timeliness
  • Guide claimants through required actions, explaining legal requirements in accessible terms
  • Use our claims management platform effectively to track, update, and manage claim information
  • Ensure accurate data entry and maintenance of all claim-related information within the system
  • Generate client-specific reports and updates using platform reporting capabilities
  • Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders involved in claim resolution
  • Participate in regular case review meetings to discuss claim status and address potential challenges
  • Share best practices and document standardised processes within the Operations team to drive efficiency

Requirements

  • Previous experience in claims management acquired in the insurance or financial services sector is essential
  • Excellent attention to details and outstanding organisation skills
  • Solid experience dealings with Claims Management Software
  • Strong communication abilities
  • 5+ years of experience in similar roles
  • Excellent abilities of the Microsoft office suite: Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Comfortable with technology platforms and data management systems
  • Excellent command of English is required and / or ability to speak either French, Italian, Spanish, German or Dutch would be ideal
  • Rigorous mindset combined with excellent time management and intellectual curiosity
  • Capacity to work under tight deadlines and pro-active
  • Professional demeanor with ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
