About the role

  • Development of modern full‑stack applications — from user-friendly frontends using GWT and TypeScript/React to high-performance server-side components and interfaces based on Java, using our in-house framework
  • Active participation in the design and further development of our logistics solutions with a focus on port systems
  • Collaboration in an agile, interdisciplinary team consisting of software development, quality assurance, and product owners
  • Development of customer-focused, practical, and scalable solutions to support real-world logistics processes
  • Participation in pair programming, code reviews, and retrospectives to continuously improve professional and technical excellence
  • Contribution to technology decisions, architecture topics, and the ongoing optimization of our development processes

Requirements

  • Completed vocational training as an IT specialist in application development, a degree in computer science, or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in test-driven software development with Java
  • Experience with web technologies (React, GWT, JavaScript, CSS, XML, and XSD), JPA, build technologies (Gradle, Maven, Jenkins, GitLab), and version control (GIT)
  • Willingness to take responsibility within the team and drive initiatives forward
  • Very good German skills (at least C1) and good English skills
