About the role
- Engage in deep dives with CFOs and finance teams to understand FP&A business requirements and internal processes
- Conduct captivating product demos and deep dives with finance teams, understanding pain points and identifying complementary solutions
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop Proof of Concepts (POCs) that showcase the capabilities and value of Datarails
- Partner closely with the sales team, evaluating and assisting in sales strategies and providing solution recommendations
- Leverage understanding of competitive products and technologies to position Datarails effectively in sales presentations
- Assist in the development of proposals and responses to RFI and RFP documents
Requirements
- 5-8+ years of progressive experience in accounting/finance, FP&A, or relevant sales engineering roles in the finance industry
- Strong grasp of financial applications, including budgeting, planning, forecasting, month-end close, financial reporting, and consolidation platforms + intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- Ability to gather and understand potential customers' requirements, using a consultative approach to effectively demonstrate how Datarails meets their needs
- Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts effectively and clearly
- Strong business acumen, collaborative skill set, and a team-oriented everyone-wins attitude
- Understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes across multiple industries such as manufacturing, services, banking, insurance, etc., a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business/Finance, a plus
