QA Engineer

• Testing and calibrating valves using a hydraulic test stand
• Following detailed engineering specifications
• Installing and removing test fittings
• Installing orifices and/or plugs after testing
• Loading and unloading valves from test fixtures
• Transporting valves to paint lines
• Analyzing defective valves and repairing them to meet specifications
• Operating a hydraulic test stand
• Maintaining minimum production levels
• Notifying the supervisor about shortages of testing supplies
• Understanding and following instructions from engineering blueprints, routing documents, work instructions, and Engineering Test Orders
• Using pneumatic torque tools
• Utilizing pressure, flow, leakage, time, torque, and length gauges effectively
