About the role
- Plan and prioritize service requests for project services (testing, commissioning, sea trial) and ad-hoc services (technical support, troubleshooting, repair)
- Ensure the successful outcome of service together with all internal and external stakeholders
- Responsiveness towards customers, ready to provide 24/7 remote technical support
- Establish and maintain a good business relationship with customers to encourage repeat referral business
- Development of technical know-how, new technology trends, new products and product feature
- Be a Team Player and work towards achieving country objectives and goal
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree / polytechnic graduate in electrical / mechatronics / automation engineering
- Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience
- Strong understanding of marine equipment, systems, and terminology
- High technical knowledge of drive products and applications
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work both independently and part of a team
- Ability and willingness to travel across APR region for long term assignments (at least 2 weeks at a single time)
- High level of energy and ability to build relationships and trust across countries/cultures
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Experience in working for matrix management, cross-functional collaboration
