About the role
- Apply cutting-edge model-based design to optimize performance and efficiency in our heating and cooling solutions.
- Complete discrete MBD (Model Based Design) tasks to meet design and project objectives.
- Design thermodynamic systems or sub-systems for future district heating networks.
- Develop the future way of making applications for electronic controllers.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues in Nordborg R&D while maintaining contact with engineering, production, and portfolio teams in Tuchom to support efficient implementation of solutions.
Requirements
- Degree in Mechatronics, Control Systems Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in applied engineering roles
- Proficiency in Matlab/Simulink (essential)
- Solid understanding of control theory in dynamical systems
- Embedded software engineering experience (C code experience is a plus)
- Fundamental knowledge of heat transfer, fluid dynamics, and thermodynamics
- Familiarity with Model-Based Design processes and tools such as Modelica/Dymola
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
