About the role
- Lead the design and development of new [pump/motor/control/system] products, sub-systems, and components from concept through production
- Apply engineering principles to develop and validate designs that meet performance, cost, and reliability targets
- Create and manage detailed 3D CAD models, drawings, and bills of material (BoMs)
- Collaborate with simulation, test, manufacturing, and sourcing teams to ensure robust product performance and design-for-manufacture (DFM)
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field (Master’s preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in product design and development (preferably in hydraulic, mechanical, or electro-mechanical systems)
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g. NX, Creo, or SolidWorks)
- Experience with PLM systems (e.g., Teamcenter, Enovia, or Windchill)
- Strong understanding of GD&T, tolerance analysis, and DFMEA
- Demonstrated ability to take concepts through full product development lifecycle
