About the role
- Specify /Design & purchase & install assembly equipment, tools, and fixtures.
- New process study and investment evaluation for new project.
- New process development and implementation to meet project goals and EHS requirements.
- Work with Europe team & China engineering/quality team to implement new equipment and processes to improve productivity.
- Participate in Danfoss DBS or implement independently.
- Using Team center to tranform EBOM to MBOM, and handle the ECR;
- Root cause analysis for corrective actions & problem solving (RCPS).
- Implement the installation and setup of the proposed manufacturing layout in facility.
- Continual improvement\ apply lean manufacturing concepts to improve productivity and quality.
- Error proofing technology application.
- Daily technical issues solving on site.
- Process documents preparation (PFD, PFMEA, CP, SW, WI….), and train the operator.
- Facilities upgrade, and 5S implementation.
- Other tasks allotted by dept as required, solid English communication skills.
Requirements
- BS in manufacturing, mechanical, electrical or industrial engineering or other related technologies with a solid knowledge in manufacturing
- 5+ years of hands on experience in a manufacturing plant
- Skilled in customized equipment/tools/fixtures design, and have experience on pneumatic and hydraulic system.
- Skilled in problem solving with relative tools. Such as lean, IE, or 6 sigma, 8D…etc
- Running off / accepting new equipment
- Statistical process control – control charting key parameters and performing gage R&R studies
- Creating and using work flows, PFMEA’s, control plans and work instructions.
- Experience in a global company setup
