About the role
- Work with system integrators to develop the future standard for PLC control systems for the Danfoss Turbocor group;
- Work closely with the global IT team to implement the MES system while acting as the Voice of Manufacturing from DTC;
- Analyze schedules to ensure the most efficient use of resources and accurate finish dates for assigned projects;
- Work closely with all manufacturing locations to develop the DTC standard for machine control systems.
- 30% domestic/international travel.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or Automation/Control Engineering Technology.
- 5 years working with MES systems, specifically with SIT/Ops Center and/or Critical Manufacturing.
- 5 years implementing Industry 4.0 and the Connected Factory concepts within an organization.
- 3 years managing/implementing site wide PLC control standardization within a factory environment.
- 1 year in an Industrial/Manufacturing operations role with supervisory responsibility.
