About the role
- Develop and modify 2D and 3D CAD models and drawings based on project requirements.
- Collaborate with project teams to develop schematics and mechanical designs that meet project specifications.
- Assist in the design and development of new equipment and processes.
- Maintain and update CAD libraries and documentation.
- Provide technical support and training to team members on CAD software and best practices.
- Participate in project meetings and contribute to design reviews.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED is required
- Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Siemens NX; 3D is preferred.
- Familiarity with drafting techniques, construction processes, mechanical design principle, and GD&T
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Basic understanding of 2D animation concepts is a plus.
- Solid technical writing skills to support the development of shop floor documentation
