About the role
- Report to Senior Vice President, Nutrition Affairs
- Lead and/or support engagement strategies and educational collaborations with health and wellness thought leaders and professional organizations
- Develop and execute strategic collaborations, roundtables, briefings, and events that advance dairy’s role in health and sustainability
- Provide input on relationship goals and guide productive dialogue to achieve shared outcomes
- Translate complex nutrition and sustainability science into compelling, audience-specific content
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and communications colleagues to develop materials and content that support stakeholder engagement and amplify dairy’s value
- Represent the dairy community at national conferences, convenings, and strategic partner events
- Serve as a trusted resource for DMI and NDC, articulating dairy’s contributions to health and sustainable food systems
Requirements
- Registered Dietitian (RD) certification preferred
- Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in health, wellness, or nutrition-related roles within business, agency, retail, healthcare, or nonprofit sectors
- Foundational knowledge of nutrition, health, and sustainable food systems
- Experience in stakeholder engagement and project management preferred
- Travel required for key business needs (up to 25%)
