About the role

  • Overall responsibility for all local HR matters and ensuring compliance with legal requirements
  • Management of the entire employee lifecycle in accordance with global policies (e.g., onboarding/offboarding, performance management)
  • Strategic support of the local management team as an HR Business Partner
  • Implementation and roll-out of global HR processes and promotion of global consistency while taking local specificities into account
  • Coordination with internal BICO teams and active participation in the global HR community
  • Responsibility for occupational safety and health protection at the site
  • Participation in global projects as well as independent implementation of local HR initiatives
  • Ensuring that managers and employees receive the necessary HR support

Requirements

  • Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of professional experience (minimum 5 years) in HR, ideally in an international, multi-site environment
  • Experience in an international multi-site environment, preferably in the manufacturing or life-science industry
  • Solid knowledge of German labor law; knowledge of the UK and France is an advantage
  • Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
  • Confident use of HR systems (Workday) and MS Office
  • Strong communication and presentation skills as well as intercultural competence
  • Analytical thinking, problem-solving skills and strong organizational ability
  • High team orientation and willingness to collaborate in an international environment
