About the role
- Greet and direct customers, suppliers and prospects
- Identify customers’ needs and inform them about new products and promotions
- Provide technical advice on products
- Prepare orders and record sales using the ERP
- Monitor the order portfolio and manage cash receipts
- Handle cash register opening/closing and customer returns
- Manage customer disputes in coordination with the relevant departments
- Ensure receipt, preparation and shipment of products
- Perform inventories and report stock discrepancies
- Be responsible for safety stock levels of products held at the branch
- Highlight promotional areas and special offers in the branch
- Regularly replenish shelves and displays
- Take part in the setup and smooth running of in-branch events and promotions
- Report to your line manager (N+1) information on competitors, customer needs and disputes
- Comply with company safety rules and internal procedures
Requirements
- You hold a Bac +2 to Bac +5 (equivalent to an associate’s to master’s level) in sales or commerce
- You have a customer-service mindset and strong interpersonal skills
- You have knowledge of marketing/selling heating, air conditioning and ventilation equipment
- Additional strengths: you are autonomous, thorough and organized
