About the role
- Develop and extend the Cyberus Hypervisor in Rust, with a focus on performance, security, and reliability
- Design and implement new virtualization features
- Optimize and maintain integration with Linux/KVM and the Cloud Hypervisor upstream
- Contribute to stability and maintainability improvements for our upcoming Long-Term Support offering
- Debug and analyze low-level system behavior in complex cloud environments
Requirements
- Strong programming skills in Rust
- Solid understanding of virtualization concepts
- Experience with Linux systems programming (KVM, libvirt, virtio, …)
- Familiarity with Cloud Hypervisor is an advantage
- Comfortable working with low-level tools
- A structured and security-conscious approach to problem solving
- Fluent in English; German is a plus but not required
