About the role
- Develop and deliver innovative customer-centric technologies and solutions that facilitate OPM operation and maintenance (O&M) and Modernization support for legacy and new applications in a production environment.
- Support the development and work with government business/mission clients to ensure changes/bugs identified in the production systems are fixed, verified, and tested in lower environments.
- Provide technical expertise and systems design for individual initiatives.
- Review existing architecture and suggest/implement ways to fine-tune the application.
- Responsible for developing and delivering complex software requirements to accomplish business goals.
- Ensure that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements.
Requirements
- at least seven 7+ years experience Cobol/DB2 & Stored Procedures
- College degree (B.S.) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Management Systems or a related discipline. Equivalent professional experience will be considered in lieu of degree
- US citizen and must have active OPM Public Trust Clearance.
