About the role
- Support the Assistant and/or Chief Engineer and Sr. Facilities Manager
- Perform routine operation, inspection, maintenance, and repairs of building systems and equipment
- Maintain all HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing equipment
- Perform major repairs and replacements including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
- Ensure ongoing preventive maintenance and repair work orders
- Maintain stock and inventory control
- Respond effectively to emergencies and manage documentation during events
Requirements
- A High School Diploma or GED Equivalent is required
- Minimum of four (4) years of technical experience in all aspects of building engineering
- Strong background in technical aspects of HVAC equipment and systems, plumbing, electrical, equipment repair and maintenance
- Appropriate license/permit for trade as may be required
- Valid state driver’s license
- Valid “Universal” level certification for CFC and HFC-based refrigerants (EPA Section 608)
