About the role
- Design, build, deploy and improve advanced ML and generative AI (e.g. large language model) solutions for patient and provider-facing products (e.g., conversational AI, personalization, user understanding, clinical decision support).
- Lead end-to-end AI initiatives from data exploration, modeling, evaluation, A/B testing, deployment, and continuous monitoring.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with clinicians, researchers, engineers, product managers, data scientists, and designers to drive product improvements.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to interns and junior team members, fostering a culture of learning and innovation.
Requirements
- 3+ years of industry experience building and deploying robust ML/AI models for user-facing or data-driven products.
- Experienced with the full ML lifecycle: data analysis, model development, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring.
- Hands-on experience building AI systems using large language modelsProficient in Python and production-quality software engineering practices.
- Skilled in working with real-world data, especially healthcare data is a huge plus.
- Effective collaborator and communicator in fast-paced, cross-functional teams.
- MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
