About the role

  • Responsible for the entire end-to-end sales cycle for CSP's product portfolio in mechanical engineering companies, production-intensive manufacturing lines and complex assembly environments.
  • Develop strategic account plans based on the customer's production strategy (automation, modularization, robotics, digital work instructions, traceability, predictive quality).
  • Generate new business in mid-sized mechanical engineering firms and global industrial corporations.
  • Expand existing accounts through site-wide rollouts, new production lines and digital quality programs.
  • Build and maintain broad relationships with quality managers, production leads, engineering teams and C-level stakeholders.
  • Communicate CSP's value proposition in the context of mechanical engineering requirements: variant complexity, long product lifecycles, high customization, regulatory requirements and after-sales quality.
  • Collaborate with PreSales, Product Management, Customer Success and Partner Management to successfully conduct customer evaluations and projects.
  • Execute precise territory planning, forecasting and pipeline management with a data-driven discipline.
  • Represent CSP at industry events, partner meetings and mechanical engineering trade fairs (e.g. Hannover Messe).

Requirements

  • Several years of experience in enterprise software sales with customers in mechanical engineering, plant engineering, industrial automation or related sectors.
  • Strong understanding of engineering-driven production processes, assembly workflows, documentation requirements and quality methods.
  • Ability to win over senior stakeholders, influence decisions and navigate complex buying centers.
  • Strong understanding of industrial production environments, quality processes and shop floor workflows (advantageous).
  • Experience in both hunting and farming — comfortable in both disciplines.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
  • High degree of ownership, a structured approach and a strong sense of responsibility.
  • CRM knowledge (Salesforce, HubSpot, MS Dynamics or similar).
  • Fluent English; German or other European languages are a plus.
  • A bachelor’s degree is required; a master’s degree or equivalent experience is an advantage.
