About the role
- Manage the financial operations related to healthcare benefit plans
- Work with the third-party administrator (TPA) to automate tasks and increase efficiencies
- Ensure accuracy while working closely with internal finance & accounting and account management teams
- Facilitate claims processing, pay premiums, and reconcile bank statements
- Produce standard monthly reporting and manage asset transfers as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
- 3+ years in treasury, corporate accounting / finance, or banking operations with strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles
- Experience working in a third-party administrator (TPA) or third-party financial administrator setting is preferred
- Proficient in the MS Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Experience with VBA or other benefits administration software strongly preferred
- Strong analytical skills and attention-to-detail
- Effective communication and collaboration with internal teams and external vendor partners
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, deadline-oriented environments
