About the role
- As an intern on the Services TechOps team, Software Engineers build tools that are used by the consulting team in performance of its incident response and threat hunting missions.
- You will be expected to work on major components, features and development projects for improving the security, scalability, and overall capabilities of the incident response team.
- You will work alongside the best and brightest engineering talent, making sure high standards are being followed when it comes to design, coding quality, and unit and component testing.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled at a four university, graduating between December 2026 - June 2027
- Development experience with Python; Javascript/Typescript; Go; or other multi-platform languages
- Experience working with network and cloud based tools
- Experience with version control and command line/terminal environments
- Can think about and write high quality code and can demonstrate that capability, be it through job experience, schoolwork, or contributions to community projects.
- Able to communicate, collaborate, and work effectively in a distributed team.
- Familiarity and experience with Agile process
- Team player – able to communicate, collaborate, and work effectively in a globally distributed team.
- Knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and object-oriented programming principles
