About the role
- Responsible for ownership and management of field medical activities
- Design and build a highly scientific and credible field medical team
- Manage a multidisciplinary team including Medical Science Liaisons
- Develop and maintain relationships with KOLs
- Gather relevant clinical & scientific insights and report timely
- Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines in all scientific interactions
- Lead medical initiatives to support advisory boards and studies
- Support product launch activities and strategic alignment with cross-functional teams
- Provide scientific support at regional and national congresses
Requirements
- MD, PharmD, or PhD, or NP with 10+ years of experience in field medical affairs
- Minimum of 5 years in leadership roles
- Proven ability to excel in scientific communication
- Extensive knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements
- Experience supporting product launch(es) in specialty categories
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Preference for candidates who have worked both within small and medium/large biotech or pharma companies
- Commitment to patient-centric approaches
