About the role
- responsible for day-to-day site Operations
- supervise the warehousing, receiving, and shipping of product
- planning inbound and outbound volume
- manage people management responsibilities including hiring and training
- conduct performance appraisals and address performance issues
- collaborate with Human Resources on hiring and training programs
- manage operations to meet productivity and service goals
- develop annual operating budget and manage financial controls
- ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
Requirements
- high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred
- 7 years’ experience in logistics/distribution/relevant environment
- 5 years’ experience in a supervisory role
- proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- demonstrated proficiency in applicable WMS systems
- fluent in English (reading, writing, verbal)
