About the role
- Acts as key interface with the local Convergint Specialist and Project management to ensure job is executed as required
- Acts as key interface with the customer and maximizes customer satisfaction
- Ensures projects are effectively executed to budgeted cost and time schedules
- Specifically responsible for documenting all change orders for jobs to ensure all local hours are captured
- Identifies potential project risks and assists to develop/implement strategies to minimize impact
- Develops and implements strategies for controlling deviations from estimated costs and project deadlines
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required
Requirements
- College degree, trade school or equivalent experience
- 3-5 years engineering, field service or project management experience in 1 or more of the following industries: electronic, fire alarm & life safety, building automation, and/or healthcare
- Previous supervisory experience (preferred but not required)
- Basic project management experience in a technical environment (building automation systems, fire alarm systems, and/or electronic security systems)
- Developing project financial skills
- Strong Microsoft Project, Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills
