About the role
- Analyze business requirements and user stories to understand Salesforce functionality and identify test needs.
- Validate configurations and customizations such as Apex classes, triggers, Visualforce pages, Lightning components, flows, and validation rules.
- Test Salesforce data transformations, data loads, and migrations using tools like Data Loader or Informatica.
- Ensure compliance with Salesforce governor limits during testing.
- Optimize test suites for speed, reliability, and coverage.
- Implement test automation strategies, including CI/CD integration (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps).
- Create and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Provar, TestComplete, or Salesforce-specific automation frameworks.
- Conduct API testing for Salesforce REST/SOAP integrations.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing across Salesforce modules and integrated systems.
- Design, develop, and execute test cases for Salesforce features such as Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, or custom applications.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience working in an agile environment and part of a scrum team.
- In-depth knowledge of Provar, Selenium, or equivalent test automation tools.
- Experience in programming languages like Java, C.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience supporting clients to adopt tools and methodologies.
- Must reside within the continental US and eligible for VA clearance.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
- Experience testing on Salesforce platform.
- At least 10 years’ professional experience with a minimum of 3 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on test automation.
