About the role
- Lead the development and implementation of our internal communications strategy to inform, align, and inspire employees
- Manage external communications to foster a positive brand reputation with media partners
- Partner closely with senior leadership to craft executive communications
- Govern message standards and coordinate cross-functional storytelling
- Own earned media and reputation management programs
- Build and execute an annual internal communications strategy that aligns employees to company vision, values, and priorities
- Serve as lead writer/editor for leadership messages, all-staff announcements, and key change communications
- Develop presentation materials and talking points for executive and enterprise meetings
- Lead earned media strategy and relationships with reporters, editors, and industry outlets
- Draft, edit, and route press releases, media statements, and Q&As
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree, or commensurate experience is Required
- 5+ years of experience within Communications and Media is Required
- Prior experience with communication tools and platforms (e.g., SharePoint, Teams, email studios, media databases) is Required
- Experience with media relations, issues communications, managing online reviews programs or social customer care processes is Required
