About the role
- Determine financial strategy and implement performance metrics
- Drive financial effectiveness by establishing planning and forecasting processes
- Produce actionable reporting and analysis
- Build strong relationships across the leadership team to influence decision making
- Spearhead financial quarterly forecast and annual budgeting process
- Provide financial consulting and strategic support to senior management
- Develop and publish regular KPI/metric reporting to track results and identify trends
- Collaborate with functional leaders in developing the annual operating plan and quarterly financial forecasts
- Ensure alignment between corporate goals & timelines and resource/spend plans
- Work closely with accounting team to continuously improve the financial close process
Requirements
- 5-7 years of experience in a FP&A role
- Experience in the SaaS industry
- Strong understanding of private equity financial structures and reporting requirements
- Public accounting experience in either audit or transaction services
- 4 year college degree in finance, accounting or business administration, or equivalent experience.
- Experience with mergers and acquisitions (M&A) activities.
- Advanced Excel modeling skills.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP.
- Demonstrated history of financial modeling with business partner mindset; experience with SaaS preferred.
- Proficiency with ERP systems, cloud planning solutions and other relevant operational applications within the SaaS industry.
