About the role
- Supervise accounts payable staff, systems and files
- Prepare ACH and check disbursement batches for processing along with the associated voucher packets
- Prepare the employee expense reimbursement batches
- Maintaining excellent third-party vendor relationships
- Reconciling the accounts payable subledger to the general ledger and vendor accounts
- Conducting month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Preparing related tax filings (e.g., IRS Form 1099)
- Participate in responding to the year-end audit requests and providing required documentation
- Assist with ad hoc accounting and finance projects as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive accounts payable experience, preferably in a software or technology company
- 3+ years of supervisory or management experience required
- Experience with NetSuite and proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently as well as collaboratively
