About the role

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for Salesforce applications
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing of Salesforce features and customizations
  • Collaborate with developers, product owners, and business analysts to understand requirements and translate them into test cases
  • Validate Salesforce configurations, workflows, triggers, and APIs
  • Ensure test coverage for both standard Salesforce functionality and custom Apex code
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
  • Identify, document, and track defects using tools like Jira or Azure DevOps
  • Contribute to continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as an SDET or QA Engineer
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience testing Salesforce applications
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud
  • Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript
  • Familiarity with Salesforce data model, Apex, SOQL, and Lightning components
  • Experience with API testing tools like Postman or REST Assured
  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies and Agile development practices
  • Salesforce Administrator or Platform Developer certification preferred
  • Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner)
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git, or Azure DevOps
  • Experience in Telecom industry
