About the role
- Prospecting and Outbound Communications: Partner with Senior Sales Leadership to build a robust sales pipeline through high-activity outreach to potential customers and selling into new accounts.
- Customer Interaction: Respond promptly to all prospect inquiries via phone, email, text, and chat. Provide product information, pricing, and availability while maintaining thorough documentation of interactions.
- Relationship Building: Identify and pursue new sales leads through prospecting, networking, and cold calling. Develop and maintain strong relationships with new prospects across multiple channels. Understand their business needs and deliver tailored solutions.
- Expand our Customer Base: Identify and engage prospects to close sales across specific sales categories.
- Product and Service Expertise: Gain in-depth knowledge of our offerings, conduct calls, deliver presentations, and provide tailored solutions. Develop and maintain knowledge of the Bitcoin industry and Compass Mining’s products and services. (Bitcoin mining knowledge is not required—comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided.)
- Collaboration: Coordinate with Sales Leadership to deliver seamless onboarding for new customers, ensuring high-quality service and earning positive testimonials.
- Achieve Sales Goals: Assess prospect needs, adhere to a defined selling process, and strive to exceed targets. Collaborate with Sales Leadership on large deals and unique enterprise opportunities.
- Uphold Company Standards: Work collaboratively with other sales team members to share strategies, exceed quotas, and build a book of new business.
Requirements
- 1 year of experience in sales and a proven ability to provide a high level of customer service.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Proven ability to deliver high levels of activity as measured by outbound sales KPIs.
- Proficiency in sales and CRM systems.
- Coachable and eager to learn with ongoing training.
- Interest or background in Bitcoin (preferred, not required).
