About the role
- Provide administrative support to the School of Counseling at Colorado Christian University.
- Coordinate routine correspondence and communications; enter data and prepare correspondence, reports, etc.
- Prepare receipts for payments and perform accounts receivable functions related to client accounts.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of billing and insurance claims as/if needed.
- Prepare and submit data, reports, deposits and vouchers according to established schedules and deadlines.
- Participate in staff meetings and other meetings as directed.
- Perform specialized and other duties and projects as assigned.
- Serve as a Graduate Assistant for a minimum two-year commitment; standard workweek of 25 hours/week; eligible for tuition waiver.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree and acceptance into one of CCU's graduate programs is required.
- Master's of Counseling program students preferred.
- Ability to create and maintain organized workflows and procedures.
- Work respectfully with people from various backgrounds and dispositions.
- Committed follower of Jesus Christ; able to effectively communicate personal faith and apply biblical principles and convictions in the workplace.
- Strong sense of calling to the ministry of Colorado Christian University.
- Regularly attend and be engaged in meaningful involvement in a Bible-believing evangelical local church.
- Knowledgeable about the Word of God and passionate about Christian education.
- Must be a traditional evangelical Christian whose lifestyle is compatible with CCU’s Statement of Faith and Strategic Priorities.
- Undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university and acceptance/enrollment in one of CCU’s graduate programs (required).
- Minimum two-year commitment to the Graduate Assistant position; remain through end of fiscal year in which graduate program is completed.
- Standard workweek of 25 hours per week (will not exceed an average of 29 hours per week).
- Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Must be able to drive a vehicle, fly by plane, or use other modes of transportation within assigned territory.
- May be required to work occasional irregular hours, including some nights and weekends, and travel occasionally to meet with students, parents, and schools.
- Graduate Assistants must be employed prior to the beginning of the class to use the tuition waiver.
