Build and own Coinbase’s Marketing Mix Model (MMM) from the ground up to measure and optimize marketing spend effectiveness across channels (e.g. Facebook, TikTok, etc.)
Partner with Marketing, Finance, and Data Engineering to translate business goals into measurable frameworks and actionable insights
Develop and maintain robust statistical and econometric models that drive budget allocation and ROI optimization
Conduct deep dives into marketing performance data to uncover drivers of growth and inform strategic decisions
Contribute to experimentation and causal analysis efforts to validate model accuracy and inform future iterations
Requirements
BA/BS in a quantitative field (e.g. Math, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science) with 5+ years of relevant experience, or PhD with 3+ years
Hands-on experience building and maintaining Marketing Mix Models (MMM) or Media Mix Models (MMM)
Expertise in regression, econometrics, causal inference, or Bayesian modeling
Proficiency in SQL and Python for data analysis, model development, and automation
Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business recommendations
Experience working with marketing data (media spend, conversions, attribution, campaign data)
Background in consumer tech or similarly fast-paced, data-rich environments
