About the role
- Design, build, and maintain AWS Serverless applications
- Work with a talented team to create high-quality solutions using React (with Typescript), Node.js (with Typescript), and AWS services
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements
- Write and test code, integrate systems, and help keep applications running smoothly
- Identify dependencies and risks and keep work aligned with team goals
- Create and maintain integration and unit tests
- Build and manage integrations with AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, S3, and Aurora
- Support deployments and troubleshoot using monitoring tools like AWS CloudWatch or X-Ray
Requirements
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field
- 5+ years of technical engineering experience
- Experience coding in languages including C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python (or 7 years in lieu of degree)
- Building applications using AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, Aurora, and S3
- Solid understanding of front-end development with React
- Good communication skills
- Must demonstrate exceptional communication, both written and verbal
- Must be a team player and willing to follow directions, as well as take initiative
