About the role
- Manage all station functions to ensure departments execute service agreements at customer's standards.
- Maximize profitability through customer service and prompt communication.
- Provide managers with daily guidance and support on operations and HR issues.
- Ensure freight is expedited safely and timely.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Review P&L performance and establish short-term goals to address budgetary shortfalls.
- Oversee business development and sales for maximum transportation revenue.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Bachelor’s Degree in Transportation, logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related discipline preferred
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
- Minimum 3 years of supervisory or management experience
- Minimum 4 years industry experience preferred
- Valid state issued Driver’s License
- Forklift Driver Certification
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and job specific software applications
