About the role

  • Process and commercial oversight of site operations
  • Ensure the smooth running of daily operations
  • Manage and optimize processes in compliance with all relevant quality management (QM) standards
  • Serve as the on-site point of contact for the customer
  • Lead staff in a multi-shift operation with flexible working hours, including, if required, weekends and public holidays
  • Monitor schedules and ensure adherence to performance parameters, including appropriate monitoring
  • Control and monitor strict compliance with customer regulations and requirements
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and occupational health and safety requirements in accordance with legal provisions
  • Support problem resolution as well as personnel planning and selection

Requirements

  • Degree with a focus on logistics or equivalent vocational training
  • Strong logistics understanding and at least three years' professional experience in a comparable position
  • Experience in both functional and disciplinary leadership of employees
  • Knowledge of ISO standards 9001, 14001, 45001 and 50001
  • Proficient user skills in MS Office and SAP
  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) in eCommerce is desirable
  • Fluent German and English, both written and spoken
  • High customer orientation and service awareness, reliability and flexibility
