About the role

  • Manage accounts receivable and collections across 450+ Field Sales accounts, ensuring timely payments and minimal overdue balances
  • Perform daily banking, allocations, and reconciliations to maintain ledger accuracy and cash flow integrity
  • Monitor AR ageing, identify high-risk accounts or trends, and collaborate with Field Sales Managers to drive resolution
  • Provide AR performance insights to support forecasting and month-end overdue (EOM OD) projections
  • Prepare and maintain KPI reporting, including DSO and collections effectiveness, for internal stakeholders
  • Manage escalated and high-value accounts, supporting dispute resolution and ensuring adherence to credit terms
  • Coordinate internal billing processes and recharges, addressing discrepancies in collaboration with relevant teams
  • Maintain two dedicated AR mailboxes, ensuring prompt responses and effective workflow management
  • Support credit approvals and customer onboarding by facilitating vendor forms, account setup, and compliance with finance policies

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in accounting, finance, or a related business discipline
  • 3–5 years' experience in accounts receivable, credit control, or financial operations
  • Proven experience managing large account portfolios and high transaction volumes
  • Proficiency in AR systems, banking, and reconciliation processes
  • Strong understanding of AR ageing, DSO metrics, credit terms, and dispute resolution practices
  • Analytical skills for forecasting, reporting, and risk identification
  • Clear written and verbal communication with internal stakeholders and customers
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills
  • Completion or progress toward CPA, CA, or IPA certification (desirable)
  • Experience within logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain environments (desirable)
