About the role
- Manage site Network Implementations
- Coordinate with cabling contractors
- Obtain hardware quotes for Infrastructure components
- Generate/Request Purchase Orders for Infrastructure components
- Create required Service Requests for Support teams to activate networking equipment
- Clear and concise documentation
- Communication with external vendors and internal customers
- Willingness to follow Corporate Standards
- Install Networking equipment to fulfil the plan
- Coordinate removal of Infra equipment when a site closes or ceases operations
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 10+ years’ experience with data networking
- Excellent Troubleshooting skills
- Advanced knowledge of networking protocols
- Advanced knowledge of Visio or similar flow-charting program
- Professional communication skills
- Ability to work alone, without daily, direct supervision
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet, web-based and job specific software applications
- Approximately 40 – 50% travel within NORTHAM (US and Canada)
