About the role

  • Develop and implement a market-appropriate commercial strategy aligned with CMA CGM’s overall objectives.
  • Lead, energize and motivate local sales teams to achieve and exceed established commercial targets.
  • Analyze sales performance and develop action plans to continuously improve results.
  • Monitor the competitive landscape and identify growth opportunities across key market segments.
  • Oversee intra-Caribbean and French Guiana pricing management and provide support to the assigned Pricer.
  • Collaborate with logistics, operations and customer service teams to ensure an optimal customer experience.
  • Represent CMA CGM at commercial events and build a strong network with partners, clients and industry stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the definition of pricing policies and participate in complex negotiations with major accounts and intermediaries.
  • Promote CMA CGM’s values of inclusion, innovation and social responsibility.

Requirements

  • Significant experience in commercial management, ideally within the maritime, logistics or transportation sector.
  • Excellent knowledge of the local market and its commercial stakes.
  • Proven leadership skills and experience managing complex commercial projects.
  • Strong analytical skills, decision-making ability and problem-solving in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency with commercial management tools and CRM systems, as well as associated digital skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to inspire and unite cross-functional teams.
  • Fluency in French and English, both written and spoken.
