About the role
- Strategically develop the business by expanding customer relationships and acquiring profitable new business (take care of new and existing customers)
- Negotiate contracts’ terms and conditions
- Monitor market and competition
- Detect and follow-up on new opportunities by open-source data bases
- Actively work in the CRM system (Salesforce)
- Cooperate closely with Sales Support Team, Pricing and Operations departments
- Prepare customer-specific requirement profiles
Requirements
- Proven professional experience of air & sea freight market
- Completed commercial training, ideally as a sales specialist or forwarding
- High level of customer relationship building skills
- Ability to work in a local and international team, flexibility, commitment and initiative
- Very good command of English with overall good communication skills
- High customer and service awareness
- Independent as well as target- and solution-oriented way of working
