About the role

  • Strategically develop the business by expanding customer relationships and acquiring profitable new business (take care of new and existing customers)
  • Negotiate contracts’ terms and conditions
  • Monitor market and competition
  • Detect and follow-up on new opportunities by open-source data bases
  • Actively work in the CRM system (Salesforce)
  • Cooperate closely with Sales Support Team, Pricing and Operations departments
  • Prepare customer-specific requirement profiles

Requirements

  • Proven professional experience of air & sea freight market
  • Completed commercial training, ideally as a sales specialist or forwarding
  • High level of customer relationship building skills
  • Ability to work in a local and international team, flexibility, commitment and initiative
  • Very good command of English with overall good communication skills
  • High customer and service awareness
  • Independent as well as target- and solution-oriented way of working
