About the role

  • Support the implementation of HSE management systems across UK and Ireland operations
  • Provide competent health and safety support to site management teams
  • Act as a business partner to Business Unit Directors in identifying trends and driving improvements
  • Act as ambassadors for a Culture of Trust through the roll out of campaigns and initiatives
  • Support in the delivery of HSE training as and when required
  • Coach colleagues on workplace inspections, risk assessments and incident investigations
  • Facilitate serious accident investigations

Requirements

  • Proven track record of delivering performance improvements in a fast-paced 3PL environment
  • Experience of delivering change management through strong stakeholder relationships
  • Comprehensive knowledge of ISO14001 and ISO45001 management processes, principles, and methodologies
  • Ability to influence and engage with senior stakeholders and manage multiple priorities
  • NEBOSH General Certification
  • IOSH Professional Status
  • Desirable: NEBOSH Diploma
  • Desirable: Certified DGSA (Dangerous Goods Safety Advisor)
  • Desirable: IEMA Foundation Certificate
  • Desirable: Operational Management
  • Desirable: Project Management
  • Desirable: Advanced Excel Skills
