About the role
- Deploy IBI WebFOCUS applications into Kubernetes and OpenShift clusters.
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated and manual test cases for functional, regression, and integration testing.
- Write shell scripts and automation tools to facilitate QA tasks and deployment validation.
- Troubleshoot issues in containerized environments and collaborate with DevOps, Developers, and Product teams.
- Assist in CI/CD pipeline integration and QA automation strategies.
- Document test plans and test reports.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA practices, tooling, and frameworks.
Requirements
- Strong experience in Docker and containerization.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and OpenShift (deployment, scaling, debugging).
- Hands-on experience with tools like Helm, helmfile, kubectl, oc, Jenkins, Git, etc.
- Strong Linux skills, including file system, networking, and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in Shell scripting (Bash or similar).
- Experience writing and maintaining test cases (manual and automated).
- Basic knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
