About the role
- Strategically maintain and optimize the organization's internal and external-facing LMS', ensuring optimal performance, alignment with business objectives and scalability to meet evolving needs
- Proactively identifying innovative solutions and 'out of the box' approaches to enhance the learning experience and drive business outcomes
- Create and upload training content into the LMS, including courses, modules, assessments, and multimedia materials
- Manage user accounts and permissions, granting access to appropriate training materials based on user roles and responsibilities and implement strategies to promote user engagement and maximize LMS utilization
- Track learner progress and completion rates, generating reports to evaluate training effectiveness and identify areas for improvement
- Troubleshoot LMS issues and provide technical support to learners and instructors
- Conduct needs assessments to identify training gaps, learning objectives, and target audience characteristics ensuring alignment with training goals and measurable business outcomes
- Apply instructional design principles and adult learning theory with a strategic lens, developing engaging and effective training programs that not only align with organizational goals and learner needs, but also support key performance indicators (KPIs) and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement
- Create and incorporate multimedia elements into training materials, such as videos, interactive simulations, and infographics
- Lead the learning and development lifecycle, from needs assessment and course design to implementation, evaluation, and ongoing maintenance.
- Craft and maintain comprehensive project plans, timelines, ensuring alignment with goals and resource constraints
- Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks and issues, implementing corrective actions as needed to maintain project timelines and deliverables.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree Preferred in Instructional Design, Adult Education, Educational Technology, Human Resources Development with a focus on Learning and Development, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in learning and development, with significant experience in LMS administration and content development
- Hands-on experience managing and optimizing Learning Management Systems ( experience with Workday Learning a plus )
- Knowledge of adult learning theories and instructional design models, such as ADDIE, SAM, and Kirkpatrick's Four Levels of Evaluation
- Familiarity with software implementation methodologies, UAT and the challenges associated with user adoption
- Strong proficiency in the use of multimedia tools and software, including authoring tools, presentation software, and video editing software
- Proficient in Asana
- Expertise in Articulate Storyline and Articulate Rise eLearning
- Experience with Camtasia
- Familiarity with IORAD
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint
