About the role

  • Develop CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps;
  • Integrate a wide range of applications on the City's existing Kubernetes platform, running on-premises (Rancher, OpenShift) or in the cloud (Azure Kubernetes Service);
  • Monitor and maintain Kubernetes applications using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana and Azure Monitor;
  • Provide technical support to development teams seeking guidance on DevSecOps best practices;
  • Write and maintain system documentation;
  • Ensure all code is properly managed using version control systems (Git);
  • Work within an Agile team;
  • Perform application testing.

Requirements

  • University or college diploma from a 3-year program in information management, information technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with increasing responsibilities in application development and/or integration.
  • Microsoft ASP .NET (2003, 2005 for the web, or later) and .NET Framework 1.1 and later.
  • Programming languages: VB and C#.Net.
  • Oracle RDBMS 9i and later.
  • Oracle application server technologies.
  • Oracle SOA Suite.
  • PL/SQL for creating procedures and packaged applications.
  • XML.
  • Development using Microsoft Office suite tools.
  • Development using SharePoint tools.
  • PowerBuilder (versions 6.5 to 8.0).
  • MS Access 97 and later.
  • ColdFusion.
  • Systems development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Multi-tier architecture design.
  • Unit, regression, and load testing.
  • Creation of test plans.
