• Support development and implementation of Hamilton’s Community Safety and Well-Being Plan
• Build relationships with leaders and engage service providers
• Facilitate conversations with community groups and attend key events
• Develop governance model to oversee implementation of the Plan
• Monitor and document key project issues and escalate as needed
• Write staff reports to Council and Senior Management Team

Requirements

Baccalaureate degree in social sciences, public policy, human services or a related discipline
Experience in project management, policy analysis and program development
Extensive leadership experience working with diverse stakeholders
Problem-solving capacity related to complexities with multiple stakeholders
Proven organizational and time management skills
Excellent communication and report writing skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft productivity tools, MS Visio
Professional training in project management or business analysis is an asset
