About the role

  • Responsible for driving the development and implementation of the internal communications strategy within the organisation.
  • Ensure strategic and operational alignment and promote Chiesi’s culture and values throughout the business.
  • Support all employees (both field based and head office) to feel engaged, energised and empowered.
  • Work in close partnership with senior leaders and key stakeholders to embed focused, clear, consistent, and fully aligned internal communications against the company's strategic priorities.
  • Support the creation and delivery of a clear strategy and engaging content designed to foster clarity and employee engagement.
  • Develop and evolve a seamless internal communication channel plan to support the cascade of information to employees in the most visible and meaningful way.

Requirements

  • Significant experience within an Internal Communications function; with previous programme and line management responsibilities.
  • Ability to define and deliver against clear functional strategic goals.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, demonstrating outstanding accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Creative flare; with a passion for driving innovative approaches.
  • Extensive content creation and delivery experience across various audience and format types (i.e. email, newsletters, intranet content, videos, and presentations)
  • Ability to work collaboratively with key stakeholders and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Good knowledge and experience of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Internet/Intranet platforms.
  • Ability to work autonomously; prioritising and managing own workload effectively while being flexible and adaptive to changing priorities emerging issues, short deadlines and other demands or challenges.
  • Strong grasp of how to use data to drive improvements.
  • Sound judgment with the ability to identify future or existing issues and advise on how to approach solutions.
  • Confidence in representing the communications function across all levels of the organisation; regularly advising senior management on the communication of information.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and deal sensitively and diplomatically with a range of people.
