About the role
- Serve as primary events lead for Department Stores, BlueMercury, and Charlotte Tilbury freestanding stores, overseeing end-to-end planning, execution, and ROI measurement
- Develop and execute event concepts including in-store activations, masterclasses, and large-scale activations
- Partner with Director of Events to craft overarching event strategy across wholesale accounts and freestanding stores
- Act as primary liaison with internal teams and external retail partners for accounts and freestanding stores
- Manage reconciliation of the full events budget and partner with Finance; support Director in budget build
- Manage purchase orders and vendor setup; lead vendor negotiations and contracts as needed
- Overall logistics owner for accounts: event calendar updates, run of shows, submitting retailer request forms, samples, AOVs, GWPs, shipping, OneDrive maintenance
- Manage production of event materials and coordination of deliveries; partner with Commercial and Creative teams
- Develop Event Field Memos detailing event concept, consumer journey, service experience, execution guidance, TOAs, AOVs, and logistics
- Lead event postmortems with wins, learnings, and recommendations; partner on KPI tracking for store-level sales goals
- Support Director in creation of Evergreen Eventing Kits for Field and planning/execution of Internal Events (Sales Meetings)
Requirements
- 6+ years of proven experience in events, preferably within beauty, luxury, or retail
- Prior experience working with Sephora, Ulta, Nordstrom, Bloomingdales, or Free-Standing Stores preferred
- Advanced Microsoft Suite proficiency (Outlook, Excel & PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of Eventbrite, Concur, NetSuite a plus
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Willingness to travel as needed to support events across North America
- Ability to work some weekends
- Ability to assist with on-site event setup and breakdown, including lifting and moving event materials as needed
