About the role
- Serve as the dedicated financial strategist and business partner to operations teams and the Chief Administrative Officer
- Build, own, and maintain financial models, reporting, and analytics to support leadership
- Lead annual planning, monthly close, and forecast motions for operations teams
- Manage multimillion-dollar budgets across marketing, communications, legal, corporate security, and people teams
- Collaborate with and influence cross-functional, global teams to achieve objectives
- Proactively identify opportunities for change, process improvement, and system enhancements
- Identify and solve complex business problems through data-driven analysis and storytelling
- Prepare and lead presentations for company leadership and the board
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, economics, or related fields
- 5+ years' experience in a strategic or analytical role, including Investment Banking, Consulting, Finance, Business Operations, or other analytical/operational roles
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally by building relationships and leading through influence
- Exceptional ability to self-manage projects and processes in a fast paced environment
- Strategic acumen, with an ability to connect financial decisions back to corporate strategy
- Experience preparing & leading presentations for company leadership and the board
- Experience with software platforms such as Salesforce, Coupa, Adaptive, Navan, or Netsuite (nice to have)
- Self-starter comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup environment (nice to have)
- Experience working on a global team and managing global stakeholders (nice to have)
- Bias for action and enthusiasm for solving problems (nice to have)
- Legal authorization to work for any employer in the United States without restrictions (application asks)
- Availability to come into the New York City office 2 days per week (application asks)
