About the role
- Build and Lead the Launch Team: Recruit, train, and inspire a national oncology sales organization focused on performance, accountability, and patient impact
- Deliver a High-Performance Launch: Drive execution of the U.S. commercial strategy and achieve early revenue milestones
- Establish Sales Excellence: Define KPIs, build real-time performance dashboards, and institutionalize a data-driven culture of continuous improvement
- Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate with Commercial Operations, Marketing, Market Access, and Medical Affairs to ensure synchronized field execution and compliance
- Shape Market Strategy: Lead scenario planning, competitive analyses, and risk mitigation efforts that protect the launch critical path
Requirements
- 15+ years of U.S. pharmaceutical or biotech commercial leadership, including national sales responsibility
- Proven launch success in a complex, specialty-driven market (oncology preferred)
- Deep understanding of buy-and-bill, GPO, IDN, and payer dynamics
- A track record of building diverse, high-performing sales teams and coaching next-generation leaders
- Ability to thrive in high-visibility, high-growth environments where adaptability and judgment drive outcomes
