About the role

  • Work within Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) ecosystem to input, maintain, and execute contract actions
  • Assist with reviewing, redlining, negotiating, and executing vendor contracts with a heavy focus on indirect services, especially consulting agreements
  • Develop, coordinate, formalize, and prepare contract documents with precision and accuracy
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to move requests to completion
  • Purchase materials, services, and supplies, including managing requests and continuously improving the procurement and request processes
  • Help identify and pursue opportunities to improve cost or contract terms for goods and services procured by the organization
  • Support and update internal customers on procurement requests and their timely completion
  • Follow purchasing service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Maintain accurate records, actively facilitating the purchasing request workload and prioritizing accordingly
  • Adhere to procurement guidelines and organizational policies
  • Work closely with the Procurement team to identify practice improvement opportunities, log those opportunities, and aid in the efforts to implement those changes
  • Work closely with the Legal and Information Security teams to evaluate potential suppliers as well as assess the continued use of current suppliers
  • Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field*
  • Basic understanding of procurement processes and contract terminology
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and familiarity with procurement software
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload
  • Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and professional demeanor
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
  • It's a Plus if You Have:
  • 1+ years of relevant work experience in business, procurement, and contracting - including review and redlining contract agreements
  • Non-for-profit procurement experience
  • Project Management skills
  • Experience awarding and managing consulting agreements
  • Demonstrated experience in developing, understanding, redlining, negotiating, and contracting for indirect services
  • Experience evaluating suppliers for adherence to confidentiality, data security, and regulatory standards
  • Experience with Workday Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)
  • *Additional years of relevant experience or a combination of an Associate’s degree or equivalent and relevant experience may be substituted for the Bachelor’s degree.
